![]() ![]() I like the Nik collection and so I'll be supporting paying for the rather inexpensive DXO Nik for good reason. Some of the quirks from Google's neglect seem to be gone now. I've tried to drag the Google version folder from 2017 into 2019, but it doesn't appear in the filter OR edit>Automate menus, after several attempts/restarts. I'm no expert as you can see from the thread, but I suggest you post which versions of PS and Nik you're using and someone is more likely to be able to assist Is anybody having any trouble with the Nik Filters and it shutting down photoshop? I am getting this from time to time and it is really frustrating? ![]() Thank you so much for this simple solution. I just copied the Google folder across from 2018 to 2019/Plug-ins and it seems to work. I don’t use Analog Efex Pro2 or HDR Efex Pro 2. Dfine 2, Sharpener Pro 3, & Viveza 2 work fine without. After upgrading to CC 2019, I had to copy the Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC 2018/Plug-ins/Google folder into myĪpplications/Adobe Photoshop CC 2019/Plug-ins folder and everything came up.įWIW, I’ve only had to create a duplicate folder for Color Efex Pro 4 & Silver Efex Pro. I’m running the v1.2.11 plug-ins without a problem on Mojave & PS CC 2019. I have since brought the DXO set in the black friday offer, I'm disappointed as they seem to have reduced the options in silver efex, just had a thought I could copy the old version across nice one. Worth the investment, for several reasons, IMO.Ĭan you not just copy the files from the plugin directory of your old photoshop cc to the 2019 plugin directory? Just restart your cc 2019 and they should appear. Can't speak to a workaround for the free version. Is there a workaround, or do I have to buy a newer DXO version (or give up on using Nik) ? Now that I've upgraded my OS to Mojave and PS to CC 2019 it will not install in the CC 2019 plug-ins folder. It was necessary to create a new duplicate layer before running, but not a biggie to do. I used to run the free google Nik collection 1.2.11 on PS CC 2018.
